Many of these individuals have told us that they live in areas of the country where their regional leaders chose to leave JKA, therefore they felt that they had no other option but to leave also. Since there are so many of you, we would like to support you in establishing a new JKA dojo in your area. The first step is to become an individual member. It is very important that you contact us as soon as possible. For those people interested in maintaining their connection to JKA by joining JKA/WF America there is a deadline set by JKA Japan that you need to be aware of. If you have acquired rank from an organization no longer affiliated with JKA after June 2007, JKA Japan has extended the original deadline of Dec 31, 2007 to September 30, 2008 to shift from your present Dan to a JKA Dan. Please contact your nearest JKA/WF America Regional office for more information. If there is no JKA/WF America Regional Representative in your area, contact the JKA/WF America Administrative office in New Mexico.
